Abstract
It is used to say, ‘Journalists are born not made’. But this notion has been changed a little bit due to the world wide information-technology-media boon. Now media persons are made also. It is easy to say that a Journalist is born, but hard to do without adequate training. Everyone is born with an inquisitive intelligence, but it is up to those who believe on an automatic urge to push and probe for additional facts and message that are in a beneficial position to pursue a career in media world. Most of the people willingly enter to this field are nothing but passionate as well as strivers for these types of jobs. To become a professional media person, people embark on Journalism and Mass Communication courses with proper training which is a significant aspect of the success. Individual can reach their full potential through a higher level of education-training and sufficient techniques that transform one from being simply ‘good’ into ‘successful’, thriving media person. It cannot be denied that inborn talent for understanding and interpreting the media is the added advantage, but it is also factual that aptitude can be fashioned for a better incisiveness.
So it is all about Media training. How much have we trained people who can decide the future scenario. There is world wide passion to be media person. The courses on Mass Communication and journalism have become an integral part of educational institutes at different levels. It is high time to research and assess the quality and quantity of those courses and training procedures. This paper will be an attempt to highlight a balanced model course content and coordination among the various institutes to have a better life with a healthy media environment.
